Parent Association

What is a Parent Association?

The Parent Association is the structure through which the parents in a school can work together for the best possible education for their children. The Parent Association works with the Principal, staff and the Board of Management to build effective partnership between home and school. It has been shown that the better the quality of the relationship between home and school, the more likely children are to do well and be happy, and similarly, teachers can do a better job when they are supported by and work closely with parents.
